Should be good news. CIC usually doesn't reject without contacting you for an interview or additional information. So unless you've done something heinous, it should be approval.

If you've done something heinous, they'll still contact you for explanations/more info before making a decision to reject you.

It's a requirement for procedural fairness that they give you an opportunity to convince them not to refuse you. So normally if you just get a decision made, it means a positive decision.

Found out that they mailed out his COPR n the 8th

LEAVING FOR THE STATES IN THE MORNING TO VISIT AND DO MY LANDING!! ;D

So, for the 2 copies of my personal belongings, does that mean 2 of the B4s (which there are only 8 lines to list things?!!) or 2 copies of a list I make myself.

And I seriously have to list it again on the B4???

Thanks and Bon Voyage!

One B4. Then as many B4A forms as you need. Keep one copy for yourself.

hi,

I went for interview and after its approval, VO told me she needs medical to be redo and RCMP finger prints and she is going to send instructions for that. But I didn't get any email yet. So my Question is do I need to wait for the instructions to come or should I just go ahead and get these things done. Because she said medicals taking about 4 months now.

I don't know if she would have send some special number or something on instructions that I would need to fill up on medical form or if its just a file number which I already know of course. Also for RCMP fingerprints do I need to get it delivered to me and then send it to Visa office or just going straight to immigration?

please help me with these questions so that I can get things done on my side and then start waiting again. Also any experience with medical redo processing time?

thanks

Congrats - that's great news!!!!

I guess when they request further info with your ppr it really does delay the process as we applied before you applied. I wonder why they request for some and not for others?

After months of getting our application ready we have finally sent it in today! Just wanted to say I'm excited and relieved to just have to wait now :)

Where do we find the forms we need to fill out with his belongings when he lands?

Hi, I'm new here and not sure if I am writing in the correct thread. I am filling out the 0008 Form and am not sure what office to fill in for #4 "Immigration Office requested for processing this application". I am sponsoring my husband and we both live in Maryland USA. Can anyone advise me?

Thanks!

I don't know why they ask - for US residents it's almost always going to wind up in CPP-O (Ottawa) no matter what you put.

Thanks IvanP! I would have put in New York.
