when we get the PPR do we have to get more visa photos done even if we sent them in with the initial application?

I've seen other people here say they were asked to include more, but it depends on the case.

I was only told they were waiving the interview and to send a scan of my passport.

Yes. They have to be taken within the past 6 months.

I submitted two 35 mm x 45 mm photos with my passport in September, they came back, one attached to each copy of the COPR.

thanks! :) We have to go about an hour and a half away to get the appropriate size photo done. So i was hoping to get them done before the PPR comes so that we can send out the info the following day if possible.

Wow. I'm spoiled. I had to walk two blocks to London Drugs to get them done - they did eight of them for $11.99.

I got mine done the first time at walmart paid 9 bucks for 6 and when I sent in my passport, mind you PPR came 5 months 15 days after they received our app and they requested 2 new photos which I had done at shoppers and paid 10 for 2.... Good Luck!

I will flip if I have to mail in my passport. That's where the Border office stapled my Visitor Record! I can't be without it, while I'm here!

hrmmm The VO told me not to keep my passport and VR together cus if the passport got lost I wouldn't have the VR and vise versa... just as I have heard they staple the CoPR to your passport but the website says to make sure the CoPR is put up in a safe place again not with your PP so again who knows what is right this is the CIC

Sooo because of the storm on the East coast it may have delayed the COPR... Awesome!!

Did you hear this from CIC? Or is this just a (totally reasonable) guess?

Isn't your VO LA? And for those in Ottawa, was there really any effect? I thought most of the damage was done in and around New York which doesn't even have a VO...

The storm did track through Toronto area and Ottawa, but it didn't seem to cause substantial problems (certainly not compared to NYC).

As it turns out, there is a VO in NYC (they rejected my first application). But that shouldn't impact LA or even CPP-O.

I asked Canada Post if they had issues with shipments coming in and they said yes a lot have been delayed... Remember I am in Quebec... Who knows which way the COPR is coming from...UGHHHHH!!

My husband was wondering the same thing... LA is below BC so my husband seems to think that it would have came into Canada there honestly I was hoping not cus I was reading that the Vancouver sorting station can take up to 8 days to release mail from the US seriously? But on the other hand USPS site says all international mail is flown in. but who knows I am still hoping, looks like another loooooooooooooong weekend ahead tho I hate they don't deliver mail up here on Saturdays!

Good to know! I will seperate them and keep one at the house!

I've told my wife to order her Driver's abstract from the DMV (or whatever it is called in the US) and to ask for her insurance history from her current insurance company. She's been with them approximately three years now. Is that enough of a history to help satisfy most Canadian insurers (driving) and not have our rates skyrocket?

I had used a channeler to finish my application but since I kept hearing they were more likely going to get rejected I sent out some prints to the FBI and recently got the results back. Iǜe been told CIC must receive them within three months of the date they are stamped or else they would be considered expired. I've only had first stage approval though and no AOR (or another other kind of news)for stage 2. I'm afraid the results will expire before I get a formal request for them and so I'm wondering if CPP-O has a special phone number I can contact them with to inform them about this and possibly send it in now before the three months go by?

London drugs is in Canada isn't it? If only walmart in NH would do Canadian sized photos I would just go there, but I don't think they do. :P
