I did use the email address below when sending the email

los-angeles-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

but when i get the delivery failure notice, it has re- to the email. Even when i used case specific enquiry, i got the delivery notice with the re- to the email above.

Give it a day or two then e-mail again. They might have gotten so many e-mails that they have to clean out the inbox

i got my gcms notes today..surprisingly it just took 2 weeks. (may be they are clearing the backlog as they are changing the gcms notes from email to on the website)
so my gcms say I passed the eligibility and there is a long note about it.
and they have requested the medical re assessment.

one thing which i noticed was , earlier when i used to get the gcms notes. there was just few lines under the note.. PA is NZ national. phone bills and itineraries reviewed.
But this time it had more . it included
"Not satisfied based on information on file to date that there is an ongoing spousal relationship between the sponsor and the applicant. Interview required to assess bona fides"
that note was not updated but was not shown on gcms earlier... strange

Just got our passport request!!!

YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D

I got the email at work and immediately started crying and ran into the bathroom to hide. I am so excited I'm pretty much non functional right now- so much for getting any work done this afternoon! I'm so shocked that we got PPR only 2 weeks after sending additional documentation! They must be really on top of things!

Files won't be worked on unless they pass the Eligibility. Once you got the Pass on Eligibility(after your successful interview in your case), they started working on your file. The rest is history. Now you just have to sit back and wait. Hopefully not too long. I wish they would interview applicants sooner rather than holding their files for a whole extra year only because they have to ask you some questions.

sooon?
hellooo all.
i already posted this in the cppo thread but i wanted to say im december 2011 applicant and if you are too, your time will come soon! i was just contacted yesterday morning and my case will be finalized once my medicals are finished! CO said all theyll need from this point on is to know if my Passport was the same one they had on file and if my address is the same. im assuming thats some weird ppr?
anyways.
i guess they never received my first medicals??? (they asked me in late march to do medicals) either way it worked out.
however. the mean receptionist at my doctors office had me call her back five times last week and then on the sixth phone call told me she wasnt allowed to tell me if they sent out my results? that doesnt make any sense at all? i think shes crazy.

but....
im excited. just wanted to spread some hope to those whove been waiting for so long.
cppo is definitely working on the backlog. slowly but surely.

too bad i freaked out and ordered gcms notes like two weeks ago hah thats 25 bucks i didnt need to spend.
i guess itl teach me to have some patience!

I just received notification via e-CAS tracker. I checked my application status at cic and here's what it says:

We received [name] application for permanent residence on August 23, 2012.

We started processing [name] application on April 16, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on [name] application. The office will contact [name] concerning this decision.
Here's my concern; my phone does not accept calls from Canada (StraightTalk). We do not have a home phone. Back in February we received an e-mail stating they needed more proof that my wife (Canadian) would be moving to Canada with me. We gathered more leases dating back to 2005 (we've been together since 2003), and e-mails showing she has been applying for employment in Canada (specifically around Toronto) since September 2012 as well as e-mails between the two of us for apartment searches.

I sent this new information on April 10th and the application status now says a decision has been made!? Should I e-mail the person I contacted before and advise my phone currently cannot accept calls from Canada? It says they started processing my application on April 16th, 2013 (which is my birthday oddly enough). Is this good news? Bad new? Ahhh this is killing me!

Incidentally, my wife and I received the same request for confirmation that I (the Canadian sponsor) would be moving to Canada, and we sent similar documentation (job searches, correspondence with potential buyers for our house in the US, and bank statements showing transfers to my account in Canada). We haven't really searched for apartments yet because it's not clear when our application will be approved, and we don't want to move until my wife is approved because we want both of us to be able to work, and we want it to be easy to register the kids for school. The idea that we should provide more concrete proof of intent to move when we're waiting for CIC to approve us before we move is sort of unfair, especially when their own website provides a timeline closer to a year.
