Hi,
I am preparing my online e-APR for Canada PR through Express Entry. Had received ITA on Dec 4th.
In the mean time, my current company is filing L1B petition for me through its US office. L1 might be approved before the PR processing is over and will be stamped in the passport.
1. Will there be any sort of collision between the Canadian PR and US L1B applications? Is there any condition that applicant for Canadian PR should not possess the L1B or vice versa?
2. If I move to US on L1, then for the completing the Canadian PR process, is it mandatory that I should appear at the Canadian Visa office in my home country itself or is there a way to complete the processing from the US and enter Canada from there, to complete the PR formalities? This would save travel cost.
3. Once the PR is approved can I continue to work in the US for 2 more years and then move to Canada, using the PR? In the first 5 years after getting the PR, we need to be in Canada for 2.5 years. Is this the only condition to be met, for keeping the PR live?
