us flying to canada as a green card holder with almost expired ph passport

I’m trying to go visit my friends in Canada on April 2020 and I’m currently 19 y/o living in the US with a green card holder and an expoired visa but my philippine passport is about to expire on July 2020. I read some stuff that Canada don’t do the 6-month passport rule and doesn’t require visa for the US green card holder but I’m not sure if I’m really eligible to go.
