US CBP has launched a new site to get travel history record for last 5 years. Very helpful for Canadian citizenship application.

Here is the URL:
http://www.cbp.gov/travel/international-visitors/i-94-instructions

1. I-94 arrival/departure record number
2. five-year travel history by entering your name, date of birth, and passport information.

Clicking on “Get Travel History” will return a five-year travel history based on the I-94 records, which you also can print.

Clicking on “Get Most Recent I-94” will return the I-94 number, most recent date of entry, class of admission and admit-until date.

Please note that the system does not reflect changes of status, extension of stay or adjustments of status granted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. You then have the option to print the record.

If you are from a country who need visa to go to the states, sometime they use that passport number where the visa was to put in your records. Try it

This is helpful. Thanks a lot. I am not sure if it gave all the records since I have not looked in detail, but still is good. Is there a way to get a complete record as we get it as CBSA ?

Worked well for me. Shows travels made via air and land both.
Thanks +1

I did this for my application - it worked perfectly.

DO note that if you had multiple passports throughout that period (I had to renew my UK passport part way through the qualification period for Canadian citizenship) then you will need to print the I-94 for each passport.

Also somebody from where I work whose husband from the US recently got Canadian citizenship advised bringing your I-94 printouts with you to the Citizenship test in case the officer wants to review them. Also bring all your original documents that you sent photocopies of for the application.

I think it's better to bring too much documentation than not enough so I am just going to bring everything in case the officer wants to see it.

It didnt work for me or my son. Only for my husband. I am a US citizen and my son was born in Canada. It only shows my Canadian husband's info. Weird.

Good to see you Wayne after long time. I got lot of help from your blog 'get2canada' in applying for Canadian Immigration.
God bless you. +1
