US Embassy in Toronto - US visa appnts

I will be travelling alone for H1B visa stamping at Toronto location. I was wondering if there is a store nearby to keep mobile phone/bag etc and does it open early in morning as I have an appointment around 9:30? Are we allowed to carry wallet inside consulate?
My timeline for my H1B renewal (Dropbox) at Toronto Consulate
April 15th: Passport Drop-off at Canada Post
April 16th: Reached Consulate (updates based on the Canada post and ais)
April 24th: Case Created
May 6th: Case Updated
May 7th: Approved
How long it will take to change the status to "Issued" or ready for pickup
No updates in AIS. it still shows "Send documents"

Let me know if you hear something - I believe you should get an email from US-Visa

from then no change, it's been 23 days. Is there any way we can reach out US embassy and request for expedite it?

Thank you Absolute Canada, After 23 days today my case status changed to issued after I sent email. Am really not sure whether email worked or they moved automatically. But it worked for me. Thanks much for your suggestion.
