US CPA – Colorado

Dear all,

Can anyone open this website?

The objective of this thread is to gather all those who passed US CPA exam from the State of Colorado, (although CPA’s from all around US are welcome to comment). I hear about advantages of having US CPA all the time, and I think it did indeed help strengthen my PR application under FSW. However, I am still wondering how to capitalize on it in Canada, especially if we have it from the state of Colorado!!

I don’t know about others, but it seems to me that candidates from Colorado have little to cheer about due to lack of recognition. This is so frustrating!! after all, it's a uniform exam.

I was trying to reach the Colorado State Board of Accountancy to get some information, but I just couldn’t. I have been trying "for ages" to open their official website but it just doesn’t work. WHAT A SHAME!!

Please let me know if anyone is in the same situation. Can anyone open the above mentioned web page?

I'm not a CPA, but that site opens fine for me. Are you getting a Page cannot be displayed error or something else?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, there is this error each time I try to open it, and this is not new for me. I’ve been trying to open it for sooo long, and from multiple locations (Canada and abroad), but couldn't. I am surprised howcome you could open it! am I missing something here?

Hi lovebug,

If u cant open from 'internet explorer', try downloading 'mozilla firefox' from google. It is just like internet explorer only.
mozilla is also a free-to-download software, and works like internet explorer.

Try cleaning ur system, may be too many temp files are stopping that site to open.

Just for ur info, it opened at my PC too

This is amazing, seriously!!

I was in Cambridge a couple of weeks back, and experienced the same problem. I am currently in the Middle East, still the SAME problem!

I wonder what’s going on

Did you try mozilla firefox?
But if u were using that already, then try internet explorer. Dont worry it happens sometimes. Not a big issue.

At least you now know that the website is opening (and is not 'dead' as you always thought since 'ages' !!)

Thanks a lot for your replies. I’m using internet explorer, but will certainly try mozilla firefox later today, as I can’t get it now. Will let you know the result.

Yea, at least now I know that the website is ok otherwise, let’s hope for the best.
