US Citzen working remotely in Canada for 2 weeks.

Hello,

I am a manager at IBM, NY, USA and I would like to work remotely in Canada for 2 weeks.

Is there a VISA required for this and will I owe the Canadian incomes?

If either is true, then I will just just my time in Canada as vacation.

I worked remotely while visiting Canada on multiple occasions, and I disclosed that fact to a border officer on one occasion. He told me they don't care about that since I wasn't taking the job from a Canadian. Could be an officer's discretion type of thing, wouldn't mention it if you don't have to.

It's not a problem as long as you don't interact with Canadian clients while you are here. That starts to cross the line...
