This probably applies to you - see whether it does by implication:

"a person who ceased to be citizen as a minor (under 21years of age) between January 1, 1947 and February 14, 1977 when their responsible Canadian parent took up citizenship in another country or renounced Canadian citizenship, and wishes to resume under subsection 11(1.1) of the Citizenship Act. "
