US citizen travelling to Canada with a work permit

Hello All,



I need your help as there is not much information regarding my current situation.

I’m a Canadian PR, and My fiancé is a US citizen (with Indian OCI, living in India for many years). We are getting married next month and planning to fly together to Canada. Her company is currently processing the work permit, and she’s yet to receive it.



My questions are,

1. Since she’s a US citizen,can she travel to Canada without a Visa?
2. If she can travel, can we apply for TRV from Canada with the work permit issued from India? Or should she only apply from India?

Any inputs are highly appreciated!

1. Yes.
2. I don't understand this question. If she is American, she doesn't need a TRV.

By TRV, I meant the multiple entry work visa. She should apply for it in order to work in canada? or just the work permit would be sufficient in this case?

Just the work permit. Again, she doesn't need a TRV as an American.
