Hi all!
At the urging of other members here, my common-law partner and I are submitting his PR application outland due to the faster timeline. We had the inland application form all filled out, but the CIC website is very confusing so I have one question.
Even though we're applying outland, do we send the "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada—Spouse or Common-law Partner" which the website says is to be used if "your spouse, partner or accompanying dependent child lives with you in Canada "
OR
Do we submit the "Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class (FC)" forms which the website says are to be used if "your spouse, partner or dependent child lives outside Canada". (he doesn't)
We live in Canada. We're applying outland because of the faster timeline. My boyfriend lives in Canada... Are we allowed to send the first set of forms even if we're applying outland through Ottawa? We would like to use a Canadian address for correspondence.
Any help is appreciated!
