rhcohen, I actually gave up my apartment and moved back in with my mother. All I have left is a per diem job as a teaching assistant. The only thing I can prove in my father being in a nursing home. I've always left when I was suppose to and would never do anything to risk my permanent residency. I am a little nervous of my lack of paperwork...other than to show I have my mail going to my mother's house, car registered to NJ, and my dinky little job. So hoping all goes well!

best of luck to you... please keep us updated. it's always a fear of mine to get denied entry. mostly because it's happened before, so i am always super cautious and nervous when crossing over. like i've said before, they seem to like me more now that we are married. i didn't even have to get out of the car the last time! :)

We are married and I have proof of that. I've been back and forth for over 2 years but by plane with always a return ticket. I've never been denied but have been pulled into 2nd security a couple of times. I never lie, and always tell them my intentions of eventually getting my PR there, and because of that, they have always been nice (except one lady, but even she eventually let me in.) The scary part for me is I'd love to stay for 6 months and apply for extension, etc. however with my father being ill, I'll be returning to US every 3 months for about a week. The more I cross, the more nervous I think I will get!
