I need a little bit of help in regards to procedure after processing time has passed.

I sponsored my husband in January 2018 from Italy. The processing time has passed and I sent an email to Rome visa office which they did not respond to.

My question is what should I do now?.

You cannot ask the visa office for your notes. You have to file an online request : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/transparency/access-information-privacy/requests-information-act.html

You should contact your local mp about your sponsorship application.

They don’t often reply, I think they are mostly overworked. But contact your mp’s riding office by phone, they will follow-up on your application directly with the visa office.
