most probably it is, cause CIC says that

[glow=red,2,300]When you Revoke your GCKey it can no longer be used. All Government of Canada programs and services that you enroled with using this GCKey will no longer be accessible.

Yet I'm not sure on that.

No. GCkey is just a username & password.

Doesn't matter. You will have to create a 'personal checklist code' over again & use that for a new application.

Exactly, that means that currently lodged online application will be cancelled. New username - new application.
