Hi is it necessary to write name and file no. On the back of dd for rprf?????

I didnt mentioned that?

Is this gonna be a problem

Thanks

In my personal openion, writing the name file no on the back of DD will be invalid so, dont worry.

Yeah I too was thinking about that... But some forum members were recommending that bs!!!

Well usually writing the file number makes it easier for the draft to be encashed on ur behalf, although its not mandatory to do so. I mean in case your draft gets lost from your application then its easier to trace it back to your file if ur file number is written.

I never did when i sent my drafts but I know its a common practice.

Hi I am a little bit worried now coz I just read some mix reactions.. Honestly I didn't write anything on the back.

Some are saying its necessary and some not

Earlier, when VOs used to ask for RPRF, it used to be mentioned on the letter to write ur file no. and name at the back of RPRF.

It was mandatory then and even mandatory now. Just they don't mention it nowadays

Check CHC london office website, it is written clearly "write your name and DOB back side of your DD"..

If you didn't write doesn't matter... All will be OK.

Gud Luck.
