Please experienced Seniors I need help

My EE profile is almost expiring in 2 weeks time and I still await a nomination from Alberta .

My application for nomination was received on the 28th of January 2019 after a NOI letter on the 10th of January.

Please what do I do at this stage as my EE is expiring on the 3th of April 2019. Is there an option to Extend my EE profile with same EE number?

What do I do at this stage? Please I really do need your answers

Thanks & Regards

I'm not sure how it works with Alberta specifically, but I believe you're required to let them know that your profile expired so that they transfer the nomination. That's how it works with Ontario.

When you do create a new profile, send them your new EE profile number, the PDF you receive by email when you enter the pool, and maybe even a simple explanation about why you created a new profile.

If you want to be 100% sure, give them a call.

Hello Friends,

I got my AB nomination today and I have additional 600points on my EE profile making a total of 1010 points.

I am sure there will be points draw any of these days.

My ask is that my EE profile will get expired on the 3rd of April, Do I tell IRCC that my profile will expire soon when they contact me through email?

Maybe when they send me a document check list.

Please for the better options.

Thanks & Regards

Don't worry.
The last draw was on March 6th and it's the only draw of March, and I'm pretty sure there will be a draw this Wednesday March 20th. With that skyscraper score, you'll receive an invitation for sure.
So as long as you receive an ITA before the profile expires, you're fine. When you receive an ITA, your profile is no longer subject to an expiration date.
Don't do anything.

Thanks A lot Peace Keeper.
I am grateful for this.

Also wish to know if POF will be part of my checklist? I have a job offer in Alberta but no LMIA.

Will they require me to provide POF still?
Thanks & Regards

In case of no LMIA, PoF depends on your stream.
If FSW, PoF is required.
If CEC, no PoF required.

FSW as long as you have a job on a valid work permit he doesn’t need POF.
Where do you see that he has a job on a valid work permit in Canada?

Nevertheless anyway, having a work permit and currently holding a job, doesn't exempt one from showing POF under FSW stream.

To be totally exempt from POF, one either needs to be:
-CEC applicant
Or
-FSW applicant with a LMIA approved job offer, and currently authorized to work in Canada.

It's the job offer with LMIA that makes one exempt from POF, not just actually having a job.
Plus, the duration of the offered job needs to be of at least 1 year.

Proof of funds
You must show that you have enough money for you and your family to settle in Canada, unless you:

Here's a more recent page from IRCC.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html
----------------------------
Who does not need proof of funds
You don’t need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family if

  • you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class or
  • you’re authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program
-----------------------------
What do we do now? :D
Bro, even if you are allowed to work in Canada or have a job, you still need LMIA approved job offer if you want to be exempt from POF.

Plus, I don't think you understood my initial question.
How do you know that the OP @Kandi Chick has a job now, and has a work permit? (Your post in question below)
FSW as long as you have a job on a valid work permit he doesn’t need POF.
We just know he's an Alberta PNP nominee...
We do

And even if we assume for the sake of discussion he does have a job and a work permit, he still needs a job offer if he wants to be exempt from POF.

First let's talk about this:
He did mention that he had a job offer there without LMIA so I would assume he is already here and in that job or about to start that job
Okay finally! Now I'm getting some info from you :D He has a job offer! That's a critical information for our discussion! We can go somewhere with this.
Now you've just changed the premise. He does have a job offer. But whether he'll start soon, or already working in that job is very important.

-->If he's currently already working in this job, on a work permit with company name that was issued based on an LMIA, and got job offer from this same company to stay at that job for at least 1 year after visa is issued then YES, POF EXEMPTED!

-->But if he's about to accept this offer and start this job soon, that means he's a new employee. He therefore still needs LMIA to satisfy job offer requirement in order for him to be eligible for POF exemption. Unless it's a LMIA exempt job of course.

Sure, he can accept this offer without LMIA, but that wouldn't qualify him as having a proper job offer and would therefore be subject to POF requirement! Again, unless it's a LMIA exempt job.

*************************************************************

Now this:
Did you read to the end? This part is also there “
  • you’re authorized to work in Canada on the day you apply for a permanent resident visa, and when the visa is issued
  • your current employer made you an offer to give you a full-time job for at least one year if you’re accepted as a permanent resident” and I just called CIC and they did confirm that once he is legal to work in Canada in a NOC 0 A, B that is full time he his ok.
These points go hand in hand. So I don't think you understood these points correctly. You need to look at the whole block of the requirement fto clearly understand it:
------------------
[A Valid Job Offer] also must be made if you’re currently working in Canada in a NOC 0, A or B job -->on a work permit that was issued based on an LMIA--<, and:
  • you’re working for an employer listed on your work permit
  • you’re authorized to work in Canada on the day you apply for a permanent resident visa, and when the visa is issued
  • your current employer made you an offer to give you a full-time job for at least one year if you’re accepted as a permanent resident
------------------
If he fulfills all these requirements, then the offer is valid for POF exemption. But to avoid a new LMIA, the work permit initially must have been issued based on LMIA. Also to qualify for POF exemption, the employer still needs to make a job offer! This is the point I'm trying to make here; and this is what they mean in this requirement paragraph. Job offer is a must! Just having a work permit and having a job at time of application doesn't exempt you from POF like you say.

Remember, we're talking about
POF EXEMPTION!

Thanks@ PeaceKeeper for all the details. you both are right.
I am a lady by the way and I got Nominated by Alberta just with a job offer still to begin work in April.
Moreover, I am still in my country in Africa , not yet in Canada.

Also I have no work permit nor LMIA. Therefore I will have to upload my POF . this is already part of my checklist.

Not to forget , I got nominated yesterday and I have started uploading and preparing my document checklist to upload.

Thanks a lot for the support.

More questions for me concerning POF, do there accept term deposits? how do I go about it .?
can someone help me with samples of this letter ?

@Desean .... She has no work permit, and not in Canada.... Don't know where you got the info that she did. But moving on...
@Kandi Chick My apologies for assuming for some reason you were a guy. Mea Culpa.

You are free to accept that job offer once you are in Canada, but as you already know, you are therefore subject to POF because you don't have LMIA for that job offer.

Because term deposits are only released after an agreed date, you'll probably have to show that you have access to it now, and that the term has elapsed. The funds need to be liquidated and immediately accessible at time of application.

Do you have a separate savings/checking account with the required funds in it?
