I'm leaving next week but want to make sure I don't miss anything

I have read here that I will need this at the border when I have arrived:
"letters of reference or any other documents recommended by the visa office where you applied."
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-arriving.asp

What does this look like? It isn't mandatory is it. The embassy just gave me the letter of introduction.

Thanks guys!

As far as I know if your a student you will/may need three documents:

1>Letter of Intro (I guess this is the letter of reference itself)
2>TRV (depending from which country you are)
3>Acceptance letter

I may be wrong.... I am just guessing....... Wait for others to reply....

Thank you. I just want to make sure that TRV+ passport, evidence of finance, letter of introduction and university offer letter are enough.

Anyone who has the study permit issued already here?

Hi friends, could you please clarify my doubt whether TRV is a separate document or is it the one which is printed on the passport?

TRV is the stamp on your passport

Your passport, TRV and LOA is enough. IO at POE can access all information with your UCI#, as on TRV.
