Hi All,

I am new here on board, recently i have received an ITA.
I am processing my papers through attorney in Canada.
However i am wondering about the next steps after receiving an ITA till obtaning PR.
How long the process will take approximately?

Many of you may wonder why I won't ask my attorney!, well he is quite busy and hardly replying my mail.
I have noticed this board is proactive and the members are so cooperative.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Once you received ITA you have 60 days to submitt application. After you get AOR(Acknowledgement of Recieve) you will get PR depending on you files, some people can get within 2 months or rest but some can get more than 6months.

There are spreadsheets with statistics on this forum, and also a sticky topic at the top - you can see processing times there.

Thanks Meya06,
Thanks Ellia,

As per Meya06 i understand the process will be placed as below:
1- Submitting application.
2- Receive an (AOR).
3- Submitting passport for visa stamp or issuing PR.
4- Expected time from 2 to 6 months depend on my application.

Please correct me if am wrong.

It's worthy to mention that i am provincial nomination, is this has any positive impact to process faster the application ??
since i received an ITA i have processed all the documents needed and submitted to my attorney.
#- ‘Travel’ and ‘Address’ History forms - done.
#- Police Clearance Certificate from original and resident countries - done.
#- UpFront Medical Exam - done.
#- Photos - done.
#- Use of a Representative form - done.
#- Proof of Settlement Fund - done.
#- Principal Applicant Work Reference Letter - done.
#- Principal Applicant Education Documents - done.
#- Spouse’s Education Documents - done.
#- Spouse’s Work Experience - done.
#- Birth Certificate and Translation - done.
#- Nomination Certificate - done.

Please pair with me to the end. i know i would find my answers some where else in the board.

I wish you will get PR very soon.

Good luck :)

Thanks for the Attention Meya06,
From your experience point of view.....
My question wasn't about the required documents, as my attorney is taking care of this.
I asked about if the candidate who's holder of provincial nomination, is this has any positive impact to accelerate the process of the document?
Another question, i have a large amount deposited as a cash into my bank account before couple months, do you advise me to attach explanation letter + checque copy + cheque reference from the old employer along with the bank statement PDF?

I do appreciated your attention!

LOOL we all do the same thing.
i am also a Cohen Client who has received the same type of treatment got nominated BY SK found out through my EE profile, they did not even bother to update me on my application progress.

i am now waiting to receive an ITA in the next draw.

did they ask you to submit a medical right away ?

ur an IT Guy?

having PNP nomination doesn't make your application be processed faster. It gets you more points and basically a guaranteed ITA, but then you submit and go through the same wait as everyone else.
