My wife had submitted my sponsorship application a while ago and it was approved and we were waiting for the pp to be sent. But the situation had come that I need to travel to US for my work (from my company) for an about 1 year. My questions are

1. Is it ok for me to travel to US at this period of time?
2. If I travel can I se d the passport to NDVO from US location where I will be residing.
3. If the answer yes, Can I enter Canada from US once the visa is stamped

Am so worried and confused not knowing what to do, whether I should travel to US or stay here in India. Request anyone of you to answer my questions ASAP to take any decision please :( :(

1) You can
2) Not via mail, you can take risk via mailing or someone has to take it for you, they will mail PP back to Indian address only, then someone has to bring it back to US
3) Yes you can enter - I am pretty sure you won't have issues here

Thanks for answering User 828.

But am worried what if no one is travelling from Us to back home and what if I have to send the PP with some risk in mail.

So,
1. Is there a change of address option for the Sposored person to send pp and recieve pp (adress that is out of the sponsored person's home country, like US).

2. Is there a duration limits to send the pp (within a stipulated date ) once they request the PP to be sent for visa stamping, so that I can hold it until some one travels to India.

thanks again!

You will be taking a big risk, once stuck in customs ( if caught ) then you are basically stuck.
1) No, Embassy will only mail in India, cannot change office or have outside India - if you tell them about your job situation and request passport after one year, it will only delay your process way further
2) Bad thing about ND is, they can keep PP for a while, so there is no guaranteed time

Also, if somehow you manage to send PP to India from US, they will see US entry and might ask question as that travel date wouldnt have been mentioned originally

In my opinion, get your Canadian Sponsorship done and then go, else this will be a mess
