Hello,

My sister and her kids applied for Canada visa. My brother has not applied as he is not traveling. We received the following:

- Parental consent letter. Completed consent of custodianship. This must be received at this office by 20 March 2018.

Q. Where is this office? They live in India? DO we submit documents by email or post? What email or what address?
Q> Does anyone has a sample of the letter?

Thanks

Which city in India have they applied from?

The letter is typed/written on plain paper. It would have the 24/7 contact information of the parent who is not accompanying the minors + state that as the father of the minor children, he has no objections to minor A (name, date of birth, passport details), minor B (similar) traveling with their mother (name, passport details) on a visit to Canada from XX to XX date. This consent letter must be hand signed by him

You would also include a copy of their dad's passport.

We applied online. I see there is an option to upload the letter.

About the letter, will it be good if we get it notarized or get it certified by the local police station?

You would need to let us know from which city you had applied.

Applying online does not change the visa office

We applied from Mumbai, India.

The letter says you must provide these documents within the timeframe indicated in your mycic account.

Okay.

As you applied online, you must scan and upload the signed letter + scanned passport of the dad (only bio pages) through the MyCIC account.

You can also email these documents to the Bangalore visa office

The father's passport has expired, hence he did not apply. Will an expired passport copy and anther government issued ID work?
