URGENT: Transcripts for ECA

Dear fellow members,

I'm trying to apply for my ECA. I already have the transcripts that were generated by the University during my studies and thought I could send the copies of them but looks like the transcripts must be produced by the College/University. Im not in my home country (India) now and so it is going to take a hell lot of time if I had to get them from my College/University. Do I have an alternative here? Can I send the year wise mark sheets I have with me to WES?

I marked it Urgent as I'm planning to enter the pool before I turn 33 (in 2 months from now) and lose out 5 points for my age

WES doesn't accept un attested mark sheets.

Check with other approved designated evaluation agencies if they accept notarized transcripts.

No idea. You may want to give WES a call and check with them.

I do not think so. They need transcripts sent from university in a sealed envelope.

Hello OP,

Sorry to burst your bubble all ECA centres only accept transcript sent to them from the institution directly and not original you have.

Your best option is to start work on it directing your school to have them send it to WES asap or better still if you can get your school to send the copy you already have that you should fine as well as along as it is sent from your school sealed and stamped by them.

After getting it, WES will also do a second verification for the school to confirm they send the one they received. So for WES it's a double verification process.

To be blunt, unless those 5 points are all the difference between you reaching a score of 460+, there's no real rush to enter the pool before your birthday.
