URGENT: Settlement Funds - Retirement fund balance acceptable?

Hi Friends,

Will they accept the retirement funds available to me upon my resignation as proof of settlement funds. I have calculated the taxation and even after the tax deductions I have more than sufficient funds required for settlement. The fund account is in my name and is available in 2 weeks should I resign. I have statements showing the increase in the balance over time. Please share your insights and experience

How is this money shown? I would not count on this as the sole POF - for India too many have reported using their employee provident funds as applicable POF. It may be different if your country of residence is different.

In any case, you might be better off showing your bank accounts as well as additional POF. This would be better since you dont want to take a chance and have a rejection just for POF after going so far in the process. Unless you have any data point that someone has already used it successfully.
