Friends,

I am sending my full application to CHC SINGAPORE soon.

CHC SINGAPORE specific instructions says:

pay the processing fees to the CIO in
Canadian funds. Fees are payable
by credit card (Visa, MasterCard,
American Express) or to the
"Receiver General for Canada" by:
• certified cheque,
• bank draft, or
• money order.
Do not enclose cash.
Note: Refer to the Payment
Instructions in this section for the
Right of Permanent Residence Fee.

which says:

Payment Instructions
Consult the Fees section of our Web site or the Guide for Federal Skilled Workers
to calculate your fees. Do not enclose cash. Fees may be paid in Canadian or
Singapore dollars.
• Canadian dollar payments must be made in the form of a bankdraft, drawn on a
bank in Canada and made payable to the Receiver General of Canada.
• Singapore dollar payments must be paid in the form of a cashier's order or
bankdraft, drawn on a bank in Singapore and made payable to the Canadian
High Commission.
Note: Due to fluctuating exchange rates,

I am so confused, as it don't says fee must be paid with full application or it can be paid at the time of medical PP Request.
Please note that the above instructions has been added in to the CHC SINGAPORE specific instruction guide in (10-2009)

Please help

RPRF can be paid along with Full application or at time of Medical request. I have seen few seniors recommend on this forum to pay along with Full application

Thanks,

So if i plan to pay it at the time of medical PP request, thhen what should i do on the item checklist, I will have to leave the boxes unchecked for Fee, won't that be as an incomplete application?

Pankaj

No,
ankit_20 is right - RPRF can be paid along with Full application or at time of Medical request. It makes no difference. If you have the money now then just pay it or else wait till you are asked to.

I think you will need to tick the box, if you are paying the fees.

Here: To calculate the fees:

Calculating Use the table below to calculate the total amount of fees to be paid. There
your fees are two (2) types of fees:

1. The processing fee which must be included with your application

Processing Fee Number Amount Amount
of per Due
persons person
Principal applicant 1 x $550 $ 550
Each family member age 22 or older x $550
Each family member under age 22
who is married or in a common-law x $550
relationship
Each family member under age 22 x $150
who is unmarried and not in a
common-law relationship
Total
Payment:

and

2. The Right of Permanent Residence Fee, which will be requested by
the Visa Office at a later stage if your application is approved.

Right of Permanent Residence Number Amount Amount
Fee of per Due
persons person
Principal applicant 1 x $490 $ 490
Spouse or common-law partner x $490
Total
Payment:

Note: Dependent children are exempt from paying the right of Permanent
Residence fee.

Thanks BobbyB,

I am sorry I had to say if i choose to pay the fee with medical and PP request then should i leave the checkbox unchechked?

and If i want to pay the fee, should i say in CAD or SGD, as i am not sure how much in SGD, a link from the instructions for CHC SINGAPORE says CAD 490 = SGD 642 but it was last updated in 2009.

Pankaj

I am also to apply to CHC singapore, but also confusing about this.
SGD is more convenient for us, but CAD will not fluctuate.
Hope some seniors can help this.

Hi all,

i would advise u all to pay in CAD as that's the safest way and i have seen in some forums that applicants have been asked to pay the difference when the rates fluctuated.....this can cause delays in processing....and it's safe to submit with full application as that's the requirement...it's just my advice!God bless!!!
