Urgent Reply needed

Hello,

I have taken admission in "Professional Accounting Practice" course which is graduate certificate course in Seneca college, Toronto.

I have applied for the loan at SBI bank but they are asking me to get proof that the course is equivalent to post graduation degree or diploma

From the internet I am trying to find. If anybody can send me the link which can give them proof or anybody knows that the course is same as post degree diploma.

Why don't you request your college for this problem. Ask them to provide you a letter on university letter head page that this course is a post graduate level course. It will not only be authentic but it will stand correct everywhere.

I am sure your college will help you in it. Mention the reason and justify why you need this letter from your college.

Request the college and mention the reason and to who it should be address's to, i requested such letter from the college, as the bank manager was not able to understand the Canadian education system. But even after taking it the bank folks dint understand or wanted to listen to what i had to say. By the way is to talk to the manager and request them to help you out.

I have sent the mail to international admission officer two times but these jerks are not replying

The bank manager himself mailed to college but didn't get reply.

But SBI has the habit of harassing students. The course in which I have taken admission clearly indicates in website that this course is a post graduate course then too foolish people are asking to get proof from college.

I hope I get confirmation from college in one-two days otherwise it will be a mess.

i am sandeep, i too got admitted for pg graduate program and i also applied to sbi edu loan three days back, i am excepting a call from sbi for check up call, if everything goes well may be u can use my references or else i will join you :-X, any way- has said it is clearly mention in the course details page or in offer letter also(centennial college) and also in the site ENTRY REQUIREMENT : DEGREE OR DIPLOMA IN SAME FIELD.

who asked you to show proof the BRANCH MANAGER or the loan officer from head office please clarify so that i can get info from my friend at SBI BRANCH

I convinced them today about the course. Finally they are agreed now.

Now they will do the valuation of home and may be 3-4 days later i will get the sanction letter from them.

Hopefully everything goes well.

i am in the same situation like you in my case they asked me to submit addition documents, them good to go to legal opinion & then valuation, then in 2~3 days loan approval ;D. today i spoke to my district AGM State bank of India, i also got cleared about the same doubt which might pop up latter its seems he is ok with my college and course details 8).he was asking about job prospects and somethings. hoping for the best soon and good to go for visa in next week Wednesday for sure.

thats a good idea to mingle before we reach canada, well be much better.....

Yes definitely I hope that they don't ask for further documents. The bank procedure is quite slow but pressuring them to make it fast.

Even I was asked by manager when finally he agreed for the course that how the course will benefit you and if you come back to India after finishing course will you able to pay the installments or not?

gud today submitted all except one document, but rest all procedures started like today valuation done and legal opinion taken, monday hopefully loan sanction letter will be in hand, today in my bank i met some one who is going to centennial college and applied loan, his loan was sanctioned today, happy to hear gud news from round around. waiting to hear the same news from ur end (loan sanctioned)....

Yes Sandeep, good to hear from you that all the procedures done.

From my side today morning property valuation done and TCR certificate will come tomorrow or on Monday.

So hopefully the loan will be sanctioned on Tuesday

I am going to appear for Medicals on Wednesday and most probably next day Visa file.

This what I have planned now all need to be done correctly otherwise it will take some more time.

When you are going to put your visa file?

Other than ban you can reapply as many times as you can, some people got visa third time, What are reasons of rejection............

hi thnks for reply my history i have a turist visa rejection in 2007 like my dad was out country and my groups of fren decide to go canada for a tour a relative of my fren do the procedure i didnt show any balance of my dad for livind expenses during the tour and everyone got a reject of visa...and last year in november i apply for studend visa and i got visa rejection bc of not having enough fund and they think im gonna stay in canada dont wanna come back to my home country....and i wait six mont got a addmission in senneca college for 2 year my dad show 25 thousand dollar i already paid my 1 semester fees i put reciep also dad bank balance of 6 month i dont why they reject my visa again the only reson they put is not having enoung avaibla to pay may tution fees n living expenses without working i dont what to u :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

HI vinesh good progress, mine legal opinion and valuation done. yaar but to my knowledge we need 1weeks time to apply for visa after medicals , so if u get medical done Wednesday u can only submit the visa file(drop box) on next week wednesday, may be there are exceptions ...bcos the time needed for medicals to reach CHC in Delhi. please check up with it yaar u can get medicals done right now also better get it done before hand ...
