Urgent: Received PPR Request for my parents. What do i do next?

Hey Guys,

I applied for TRV for my parents on March 10th and received Original Passport Request (OPR) on Nov 26th. Confused on what to do next. The VAC in Chennai is closed for Canada. They open only on Dec 2nd. Also i read from lot of thread that I need to request for 2-way courier service. Some say that we get the instruction letter followed by the OPR. I did not receive that. Should i wait or i can initiate the request by emailing passportsubmission@vfshelpline.com ? If i should be sending a first email. what should it be? And what will be the next process, Please help.

Also is there anyone who is in the same boat in Chennai?

My Timeline
Applied : March 10, 2020
Biometrics Collection Letter : March 11, 2020
Biometrics Completed: March 13, 2020
Correspondence Letter : July 17, 2020
OPR: Nov 26, 2020

You should send an email to vfs attaching passport request letter, then they will send 2-way courier service instructions

send an email to vfs that you mentioned above attaching your passport and passport request letter.
Then they will ask for the information like UCI and application ID etc and send them on that email again.
Then they will send you payment link make payment from your credit card once payment is successful send them reply on email that you made the payment.
After sometime they will send you the AWB number, Address and date of passport collection will be mentioned in the email along with attached consent forms and sms courier form, fill them and sign them and hand over the sealed package with all the documents they have asked to submit with passport to the nearest blue dart.

Address and phone numbers to be mentioned correctly because there are only two attempts will be made by blue dart to submit your passport and they will not pick your passport its only you who have to submit the package to blue dart.

Hi, I have recieved courier instructions just now, they asked me to include passport transmission letter along with other documents while sending courier.

Can you please tell what is the letter about?

It should be the passport request letter. May i know how long it took for you to get the instructions and payment link.

Hi, may I know when did you send email for 2 way courier? I have sent the email on 26th and still waiting to get a reply from them. They said within 2 working days they will respond.

I sent in on 26th, got reply on 27th and received payment link today.
Reach them again, also dm @vfsglobalcare and @vfsglobal in twitter. Hope it helps.

Shouldn't we wait for the email from Delhi High commission before sending email to VFS?

May I know if you got any email from Delhi High commission for passport submission?

Thanks, I did send an email to VFS. They replied back asking for uci and other info. But they have mentioned in their email to send this info in text file if you have received passport submission letter from Delhi High commission. Hence waiting for email from Delhi High commission.

whenever you receive passport submission request letter send the info they have asked as soon as possible
