I just received an email from CIC asking me to:
- "Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination"
So it sounds like they either lost the first one, or they never received it.
But there's nobody to complain to!
I'm currently in China so we have to pay a doctor here about $300 x2, because there is a dependant child.
I am looking now to see if I have a copy of the original I can send so I don't have to spend the money.
Obviously, I will spend the money if I have to, of course; but it just seems a waste because they don't have the first one.
Did this happen to anyone else?

Did you go to a cic approved clinic? The reason I am asking is because I think normally the clinic will upload directly to cic. Do you have receipt ?Or did you receive any papers from the clinic that you can scan and upload to ircc webform? Maybe cic just has not received them yet

Yes. We went to an approved clinic. I was just talking to my wife about it and she said, yes, the clinic uploads the report directly to CIC. I am looking for the receipt now.
The other interesting thing is this; Here is an excerpt from the webpage used by CIC to show the status of an application (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/viewcasestatus.do)
Note #4 below... Medical results have been received.
...weird.

Yeah, that's really weird. Upload a screenshot of this showing "medical received" on the ircc webform. Maybe it was just a overlook. But look for anything you received from the office just in case. And also upload on ircc webform :)

OH yeah. I saved a screenshot of the page. I'm going online tonight and I'll post it to CIC.
My wife also said that the doctor could probably "re-send" the results.

thanks alot for your help. My wife and I are understandably a little freaking out over this. Lol

Completely understandable. But make sure you you send them something just to let them know that yes you did complete and that online it shows that they were received. Also, my clinic emailed me our results and I uploaded them as well. Maybe your clinic can you too?

Going through your post, I understand that the medical examination was done in August or September 2017.if so the medical examination results are valid for one year and cic is asking you to redo the medical as the previous one has expired.

Omg, I didn't even notice that, yes they are expired. But did they send you a request for new medical? Because I know some applicants whos application been over 1 year but didn't need to redo the medical. So did they send you a request letter for the new one?

We've had to do ours 2 times as well, once when we first applied and again after we won our appeal.

It's too bad they didn't tell me the reason.
For example, they could have said, "Your medical results have expired"

Yes, they should:( it sucks when we hwve to redo these things because sometimes their office is slow,as they are not cheap to get done :( you may or may not also get a request for new police records. We had to send those as well. But hopefully, you just send the medical and then get some good news shortly after :) good luck with your application.

Yeah. Sucks.
Here's the kicker that tells me this whole situation is probably our fault. Ugh!
Originally we gave them an address which was not a good mailing address. But we didn't find out until about 2 months ago.
