Hey all
I was wondering..what's the possibility of someone re entering canada after being deported (possession of a firearm ) for a parent funeral
Any ideas, experiences

It's a difficult question to answer because it sounds like you may have an inadmissibility issue on top of the deportation. Assuming you are inadmissible for the firearms charge, you would need a TRP (temporary resident permit) to return. Whether this is granted or not is at the discretion of CIC. If you were also deported by Canada, you may need an ARC (authorization to return to Canada) on top of the TRV. Again, whether this is approved is up to CIC. If you do need an ARC, you should be aware the processing time is typically many months.

Too hard to guess what the outcome might be without more details...
