Urgent Question on Employment Declaration..

Hello,

I have a question..

I am working as a Financial Analyst and on my labor card it also says Financial Analyst and name of the company in Arabic. However I also work on a Part-time basis as an Accountant in another company.

Can I take the letter from my second company which I work as a Part-time Accountant. However, the manager there is willing to give a letter as a full-time instead of Part-time....will this way work as on my labor card it states as a different company and job title?

Hi,


If you are showing only your second job experience and employer is willing to show full time then you can go with it but the labor card of other company and other title wont work for you. Then wut you can do is get a reference letter from the employer and all other documents which shows that you are accountant in that company.

But I will be applying in London, UK office and they require to give the visa copy and labor card copy of the country I am currently living in...and on my visa stamped on my passport states the name of my first company and on my labor card it also states the name of my first company and job title, but all is in Arabic...

now what should I do...

Are you showing the experience for the same time in which you are working in another company ? Can you show that you worked their previously but now you are working with other company ? because the thing is that if you show that you are currently working with the second company as a fulltime and then you show your labor card for the other company which also says that you work full time then the visa officer will ask you a question that how you can work in the both compnay at the same time as full time ? and you will need to get the translation done for the documents which are in Arabic.

I would suggest if you are showing the experience for the second company then show that you are not currently working with them but your worked there before as a fulltime employer.

Quoted for the CIC website - "Experience is defined as continuous full-time or equivalent part-time paid work experience". What does it mean for part-time??

How many years of part-time will qualify for one year of full-time experience?

Full time is at least 37.5 hours a week. It should also be stated in your employment contract whether full, contract or part-time.
