Urgent- Query regarding First and Last name on passport

I have only first/given name(Munesh) on passport with no last name.
However, my University system doesn't not allow just a first name with no last name. So, they have put my first name as both my first name and last name (Munesh Munesh) .
Is it going to be a problem in visa if the name on passport and acceptance letter is different?

I think you just have to inform the situation to them

You can use your father's name as last name if it was mentioned in the passport

Should not be an issue. I am in the same boat. At some places they just repeat my first name in both fields, some places they put my father's last name.

It will not create any problem ...usually the people who do not have any last name, they consider their first as their last name.
