Hi all,
I've an urgent question - I've recently applied for my PR application for Federal Skilled Worker - Arranged employment category. But I'm not on LMO. I'm on a post-graduate open work permit and not sure if my application is eligible. Before applying I did my research and contacted CIC customer care and they told me that I'm eligible. But recently heard on this forum that they are rejecting someone on Post Grad work permit for this category.

If anyone of you has applied under this category who are on a Post grad open work permit, please let me know what responses did you get and if you application was accepted without any issues?

I've found this document - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06b-eng.pdf and under Section 9.14 (point 2), it states PGWP are allowed. But I'm still confused. Please Help!!!!

PGWP holders can definitely apply for FSW - arranged employment category. However you need an approved LMO from your employer to apply. You can't apply on the basis of yoru PGWP alone.

Sorry - I made a mistake. It's not the LMO you need - you need an offer of permanent employment from your employer. Do you have that? Was it included in your application?

Yes, I've submitted the offer of permanent full time employment from my employer along with the Job Responsibilities for the NOC Code I applied (Category A). I'm actually currently working for the employer for the past 1 month now!!
Do you have a similar case too?

Btw, thanks for your info. I'm also hoping to hear from candidates similar to my situation who have applied for PR in this category and who are on PGWP.

Hi vaibhavxv, Could you please Update your FSWP case status. I want to know if your offer of employment without LMO got approved by the visa officer?

Thanks

Hello Members,
I am also in the same situation, I have a permanent job offer on open work permit.
I do not have LMIA/LMO from my employer.
If I apply for PR under FSW category, Do I get 600 points under arranged employment offer?
