Hi Akheya
You will receive a letter with appointement to go to your CIC local office, they alredy have your card
they will check you original documents, and may be ask some question , then give you your card if you meet the RO
it is normal in some cases when applicant declare a long absence periode from canada

Hi Toronto-man

These are the documents I sent for urgent processing, thought some of them are not req, I just sent it in case.

Application and check list included.
Receipt of payment

Supporting documents

Pr card copy
Passport copy translated and stamped
Driving license copy
Health card copy
Last 5yrs notice of assessments
Excel spread sheet with detailed travelled documentations
Last few pay stubs
Plane ticket including proof of payment

FYI : got my pr card on 29th April, had to go pretty much walk in without letter and check if they have my pr card or I had to cancel ticket, luckily they had it and I got my card.

Hello Akheya

What if I apply for urgent processing n then I have to go to pick my PR card from local office ?
If yes, will they take my old card n destroy or will match my old card n return it to me to destroy as it us already expired since last year ?

Any idea !

Thank you

IF you apply for urgent PR processing, you either recive PR card in mail itself, or you received letter in mail asking you to pick up from local office. If you do get request for pickup, u have to take all the original documents you have submitted for the application along with expired PR card. They will check your expired PR card and keep it with them i assume to destroy it. You will not get it back

1.Your PR Card
If you are applying to renew your present card, you should retain it until you receive your new card. If you are applying to replace a damaged card, send the damaged card with your application.

If you are asked to present yourself at a local CIC office, you must bring with you the previous card and the original documents of the copies you have included with your application. You will be asked to destroy your previous card once you receive the new one.
