Dear All,
I have few questions on urgent basis:

Initially After Landing Canada, I want to get the PR Card As soon as Possible, so how I can get/apply for PR Card on Urgent Basis? How long Urgent Processing can take? Any guidance about the procedure?

Secondly I want to land Canada with my wife, but can she travel outside Canada before the PR Card is processed, and Can I receive the PR Card on a Canadian Address and take with me outside Canada, so that Next time me and my wife come together to stay longer.

1) there is no urgent processing of PR card for initial landing

2) yes you can do this.

Thanks for Reply MM2,

Then How long it can take to process the Card Normally on first landing?
Any alternative way to get the PR Card quicker?

in canada pr card processing time is one month usually . must need canadian address for this.

current time is 56 days on the web...

there is no way...

some times they ask for updated pictures.... in that case your wife can apply for travel documents to travel back to Canada....

Travel Document by Visa Office outside Canada? Like the Initial Visa before Landing? Do they charge for that?

Is it also possible, some one else receive the PR Card on a Canadian Address, and Could Post/hand over to us? can this work?

yes lots of ppl do that..... you just need to provide address at the landing.....

your friend/relative can receive the cards and post to you..... 99% they dont ask for updated pictures.... so there will be no problem...

Thanks for the reply.
As for as Passports are concerned, they can not be posted, while I want to make it sure 100% that the PR Cards are ok to send via post or not?
Secondly , initial visa they charge around 500 dollars, but for any travel document why they will charge less?

well i cant comment on legal matter...

you pay 500 $ for the whole immigration process

Your friend/family in Canada can send you the PR Card by reliable courier such as Fedex, UPS, DHL, etc.

PR Travel Document is applied at nearest Canadian Visa office. Check http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/travel.asp
