Would appreciate your advice. What best could be done to expedite the process.

I got a test invite, which was take and now shows “Completed” but everything else says, “In Progress”. Anyone in the same situation ?
Great congratulations,
What is timeline and could you please share the reason for urgency. thanks

Well I received an email today that IRCC has forwarded my urgent processing application to the responsible office. I called them to ask about the email and I was told that they sent a reminder to the office involved in the urgent processing of my application as they still haven't concluded the urgent processing application since November 25 which was when I applied, so my urgent processing application hasn't been rejected or granted yet.
Hello what is contact number to reach out to them? Thanks

For those who submitted an urgent processing request via web form AFTER receiving AOR, how long did it take for IRCC to acknowledge receiving the web form?
I submitted my request last Monday, they confirmed this morning via phone agent that they haven’t received it yet. Niagara Falls office.

Hi friends,

I’m not an urgent processing applicant. My application was approved early Jan 2022, I’m waiting for ceremony. I’m planning to have a one-year research position in a USA university using TN visa, which I’ll be eligible for when I’m Canadian. I understand I can apply for other visa classes, but with my current passport it can take many months to get the visa if I get it.

I’m thinking to submit a webform asking for urgent ceremony invitation. Any thought? I’m not planning to leave Canada permanently, but can this still be a bad thing to mention to CIC ?
@rajkamalmohanram I’m hoping to hear from you and other friends.

1. Taking a job outside Canada, is probably not a valid reason for urgent processing.

Thanks. I’m thinking if the worst case is that they don’t accept the urgent processing request, or worse can happen and they say you are not planning to live in Canada and it affect the whole application.

In this particular case, the worst that could happen is denying your urgent processing request IMO. Your application is already approved.
