These days it's matter of days from test to decision made to oath if your UP was approved.
Hey I’m trying to figure out how you know they approved your UP,? did someone call you about this? Did a case processing officer reach out to you or did you open up a CSE to enquire? When did you apply & hour long did they take,?
I had applied for UP & attached proof with CSE, just got a generic reply yesterday about Afghanistan. But they clearly mentioned that my attachments will be added to my file. I guess once an officer opens up my file, they will expedite it.
You will hear back from IRCC in some cases. Once your request is transferred to your local office, you can call them within 1 week's time and ask the agent on phone to tell you the outcome regarding your UP request.
So aside the intelligence agency, where else can you find jobs requiring the citizenship??
Furthermore, I would guess the foreign affairs agency, even if they do require citizenship, is useless because their jobs are mostly outside Canada.

You can look for jobs with Canada Post, Police Department, jobs with services ontario or any other province.
Basically any job that requires you to handle confidential information of public requires your secret clearance which means you need to be a citizen to get it.
Those agencies are ready to give offer-letter/support-letter and wait till one gets Citizenship? Just trying to understand how this process works.
It depends on the role and if you are able to get hold of the recruiter for the role and they are willing to consider this for your case.

They might have confused with your UP request transferred to your local office with UP getting accepted. Once UP is accepted, then IRCC moves very quickly on your application.
if i had called one time, i would agree with you, but called multiple times, and they confirmed that it is approved/accepted.
