Hello friends. My wife submitted her Online Citizenship test on March 1st and today we received fingerprint request for her for the second time.. So does that mean her test results were officially accepted. Btw she scored 19/20 but she forgot to take her PR card picture before the test. But later she sent her PR card through webform. Its strange that her fingerprint request came from IRCC Vancouver. Our visa office is Scarborough. Please advise. Thank you.

Not sure if anyone posted this but, IRCC's website is update today (March 24) regarding their processing timeline.

If you HAVE NOT received your AOR: - They are now sending AORs to applications on the Week of January 21, 2021.
If you HAVE received your AOR: "We are currently finalizing most applications received between Mar 31, 2019 to April 6, 2019"

Adding the Oath Process how it happened to me on 12th Feb 2021

Oath Process
=========
  • You will be receiving Oath invitation email with document attached.
  • Provided with Zoom link , Meeting ID and Password to join the Zoom meeting
  • You are also provided with Seat Number : 0XX
  • Most importantly the Oath document ( Mine is on the last page), sign this document electronically or mailing them at two places ( first two ) and the third one leave blank . I prefer to sign electronically as this is fast than mailing them by post . YOU NEED TO SEND THIS DOCUMENT ONCE YOUR OATH IS DONE.
  • Given instructions the steps in the oath and later you are moved to breakout rooms and IRCC Officer will be present in the breakout rooms ( generally he will discuss 1-1) to show your ID proofs like health card, PR card and Driving license and passport
  • Once it is done you will be again back to normal rooms where oath happens
  • Once oath is completed again you will be moved to breakout rooms with same officer whom you met .
  • Now he will ask you to cut PR cards and show him once you are done
  • Now the most important is to remember your IRCC agent name and reply to the email which you received oath email. In the subject Mention " Attention : Name of the Agent and attach the signed electronic document
  • During the Zoom IRCC agent will say you will receive Citizenship certificate within 4-6 weeks, In my case I received within 5 working days
  • You can call IRCC agent over phone and get the tracking if they dispatched your certificate
  • You will be receiving Certificate by Mail.
Good Luck
Do we have to fill out the top right of the oath form ahead of the ceremony?

I am going to submit an urgent processing request for a job, any recommendations from the people who submitted? My understanding is I have to send a webform with the required information and proof so it doesn't seem to be complicated.

I went through few posts here and it seems that it will probably take 2-3 months until I know if it was actually accepted or not, right?

Thanks

Hi,

It does not necessarily mean it will take three months. You might not get a response at all, but in case of a genuine job offer which requires citizenship, you will notice movement in your file progression. On the other hand, I have had a pretty quick progress at the beginning, AoR within just two days, IP within 10 days, but since the file got transferred to LO no movement at all despite the BGC being cleared.

Good luck and submit as much evidence as you can to support your claim.

That's true. Same status here. No movement from Local VO. I have requested GCMS notes. As per conversation with Call center, everything was done, as i am waiting for test. Not sure, when this will happened.

IRCC call agents are useless. All they tell me is everything is in order, and I should start preparing for the test. I have already learned Discover Canada by heart

I am having Citizenship Interview next week. Can anyone help me, whether the link works only on the interview day. Some people seeing the teams screen after the click and they have the option to join meeting in 3 different ways. For me, it shows about blank and it is taking me to MS App store to search for the App. Is it normal. Will it work on the interview day? I do not want miss out because of errors. Your help highly appreciated.
