[URGENT] Procedure for getting Police Character Certificate (PCC) from Islamabad, Pakistan

Hey guys,

Can anyone on this forum please guide me on the procedure to get PCC from Islamabad. I am traveling very soon for the sole purpose of getting one.

The issue is that I lived on a university campus hostel for 4 years while I was completing my studies. The only residency proof that I have are some bills and hostel fee receipts. I need to know the proper step-by-step procedure to get it done during my visit to the city.

The only information that I could find online is the following image from Islamabad Police Facebook Page. Can anyone update me with his/her experience and the time it takes to get one?

You already have your PPR. Why do you need a police certificate. Anyway there's a main kachehri in G-10. It depends on where your permanent residence is. You could bring that police certificate which is of the permanent address on your ID and show them all the receipts and see if they will give you one for that. I had one for my university made in Lahore but I guess Federal might be different. Ask someone you know in islamabad to visit the office and get the form and details before you travel.
