Guys,
I know this topic has been discussed multiple times and we got lot of contradicting responses. Can anyone please answer following :-

1. Can I request my friend to legally courier me my PR card from Canada to USA ?

2. Has anyone done this in past and what is the best way to do so ?

Thanks !

Also, do you have any official link which says that it is legal to mail PR card to overseas ?
There is no such link. Given that NOWHERE is it stated in the IRCC website or in immigration law that it is illegal, it seems that they rely on people to logically infer for themselves that it is therefore legal.

Nobody is forcing you to courier your PR card.

So get a PRTD to travel back to Canada, drive on a private vehicle and pick it up or if your friend is travelling to the US ask him to bring it.

Actually, PRTD is a very long process and I need to travel for a job interview. And wanted to make sure if I can ask my friend to courier it to me.

Also, have you heard anything about this RFID issue ? Do they really track if PR card is going overseas via courier ?

Guys,
I am travelling to Canada for the first time after receiving my PR card.

As I left Canada after soft landing, I got the PR couriered from Canada to my US address via. Fedex. Has anyone else done this in post and anything I need to keep in mind while travelling & immigration?

Thanks!

Many have done it. You don't need to do anything special.
