1> Any Reason for not applying to this COurse http://www.centennialcollege.ca/Programs/ProgramOverview.aspx?Program=3439 ?? as it is having Co-op Also.
2> How this 2 year of PG COurses in IT is better in terms of 2 years of COurse Based Masters in nay Univ ?? what is your personal Exp ??
3> My Profile :
10th -86%
12th - 82%
B.Tech - 74% electronics
IT Work ex - 2 years in SAP QA
IELTS - yet to give
Kindly tell my Chances for securing Admission for these Program as I am having Graduation in Non Relevant Domain. Though I have Exp in IT for 2+ year
4> Any help regarding IELTS prep would be appreciated in terms of Study material and which one among IDP or British Council would be better option to give IELTS.
5> Deadline for applying to this Centennial College for Fall'13 Session.
6> Are you sure of your this statement " I have seen many college gives different names like PG diploma, Advanced diploma, Ontario College Graduate Certificate, Ontario College Advanced Diploma. All are post graduate courses.." . Just confirming as I want to enroll only in 2 year of PG level Programs only
1. No Mayank, this is a nice course. may be better than 3429, since it's co-op. Probably i have to look abt the procedures to change to it. Thanks for informing me abt this
2. Master's is an extra mile than diploma. If u got admitted to university, then u shud take it.
3. What kind of work you do? is it like testing? SAP is always related to IT, and i think you are good to go with this. However, degree in electronics may weaken you profile. But its ok. There are many ppl who survived such situations. Make sure that u make ur profile strong in all other docs u submit (like loan amt, SOP, reference letters...)
4. Both IDP and British council conduct the same exam, and i cudn't find any difference in scoring. However, i took IDP
5. Dont go after deadline. Bcoz, u have many things to do after getting admission like loan, visa and all.. so try to secure admission atleast by May 2013 if u r planning for Fall 2013 intake
6. In my knwoldge, Yes. My agent told the same. Any program which require Bachelors degree is ofcourse post graduation. and colleges offers only diploma and post secondary certificate. So, a diploma program whch requires Bachelors degree is a post graduate diploma program. Anywys, ur agent can help u more on this.
And one more thing, if u have done bachelors, u cannot just get admitted to a post secondary program. Usually, college wont accept such applications, as no one wants to degrade their education level.
Hope that helps! All the best for your plans.
