There normally is no interview. The visa officer makes decisions based on the documents sent by the applicant. WOW!!!! That is a lot of money :) Anyway if you submitted enough proof of ties, like your employment certificate, approved leave of absence, family. The officer wants to make sure that should you be given a visa, that there is something worth going back to after your allowed visit is over. bring pictures of you and your family and friends/office mates, boyfriend/s :) All he best. Be confident but not arrogant. Answer questions honestly but do not volunteer more information than they ask for.

The officer wants to assess the ties that you have in the Philippines. If you're now working at a reputable company and has a good job and judging by the amount that you have in your bank, is good paying job at that , you won't be tempted to stay in Canada. You don't have to bring lots of pictures :) Just what normally we carry with us, mementos to show people who our friends and family are. The important thing is you should be able to show the officer you have every intention of going back and there is something worth going back to, after your visit is over.

Not really because you can always go to Toronto or any part of Canada from Vancouver :) Just relax. No use worrying. Answer the officer's questions as they are asked.

Yes, thru courier. You call a number for pick up but you have to pay thru bank draft or manager's check. the philippines has a different application kit.

The first four forms are from the CIC website the last two are from the Canadian Embassy in the Phils. Instructions on how to submit your application:
