Hello,
my girl friend is from china, and is here in canada on visitor visa. her 6 month time in canada will expire in 45 days. we eventually plan to get married so that i can file for her PR here. (i am myself a canadian PR). however we are planning to get married after 3 months as we need to do preparations for the same.
my question is: when i apply for her visitor visa extension (and we are not married yet), what reason should i give. has anyone faced a similar situation. can i just apply for 6 month extension of her visitor visa with the reason that she wants to continue to stay as tourist here. or should i state that we plan to get married in 4 months.
is this reason" i want to continue travel in canada" a valid visitor visa extension reason, or should i state that we plan to get married.
if anyone with knowledge of such situation can please help me, i would really appreciate it
thanks
