I have received PPR e-mail on 19th December 2017 stating “Ready for Visa”. I have been asked to send the PP for stamping within the next 30 days.
However, I already have planned up a travel on 6th January 2018 for family purpose. If I send my passport to Ottawa now, I wouldn’t get it back before my travel date.
Can I ask for a change for visa office in New Delhi which is in India? I can get it stamped there and pick up the passport there itself?

Please suggest guys!

Just call CIC bro..
ASAP..

Send the PP and ask for urgent processing by emailing CIC. Send proof of already planned travel and reasons. They will speed it up. It’s pretty normal.

They will not do it urgently as its not an urgent case. You should call CIC and ask them for extension by providing the tickets as proof.

Please ignore the above. 1- Your PR card will not be processed urgently, 2- there is no guarantee that you will get an extension, 3- don't waste your time calling CIC. Send an email right away to the local visa office (the email address should be in the PPR email) and ask to change the local visa office to New Delhi. You will get a new PPR email with updated instructions to send your passport to New Delhi Visa Office. You may also send a CSE using IRCC webform (link here) to ask the same. Good Luck!
