Hello,

My mother received below letter from Mississauga office. I'm confused about few things here.
1) Why it was mentioned particularly application must be answered truthfully. Are they doubting anything? all info that was provided was accurate.
2) Documents should be received date is given for 30 days and again at the bottom of the letter it was mentioned that we have 15 days time to respond. Im confused what is the end date for this.
3) Is this letter is normal format (some in red color, some in bold...) or should worry about anything?
4) Letter came to mom's email. so she should respond or I should respond to them through email?

Thanks.

Did they put in the letter what office sent the request? Your mom Unique identification number? I have recieved letters in the past but nothing was in red. You should get your mom to call and confirm it was from the immigration officer. If it is send in proof of her identification as soon as possible.

It means that they have sent at least one previous request, your mother hasn't complied and this is the last shot before they refuse the app. Check her emails, especially spam.

Get it in ASAP, 15 day deadline. Respond to the email with copies, send a Webform with copies, mail physical copies.

I don’t think they sent any emails on this earlier as we are keenly checking emails for CiC communications.

This request is for me to support my birth date and identification.

The request is to support your relationship to your mother, not your birth date.

they specifically asked for my school record, Voter ID (which will not have mother name).
and also the wording says Birth certificate that you provided doesn't' show the registration date, please provide copies of other documents establishing identity such as school records, voter ID.

so i think they are asking for my Govt ID proof which has DOB on it.

Yes, in order to support your relationship to your mother.

Also, as per your previous posts, your mother received this request in July. Did you fail to send anything in the first time?
