Urgent P.R Status

Hi,
I entered Canada in May 2006. My P.R. Card expired on 31 May 2011. i have not completed required 2 years period.

- My spouse will complete 3 years period in July 2012 (after 3 months she will apply for citizen) she is in Canada now.
- My son is Citizen and his wife applied for Citizen status
- My 2 grand sons born in Canada.(citizen)


i have my parents above 80 year are in my home country. so to take care of my parents i can"t stay longer in Canada.
i came three times in Canada but could not completed required 2 years period. At present i am in my home country. i cannot renew my PR Card because i have not completed required 2 years period so
Authority will refuse to renew my P.R.Card.
My whole Family are in Canada. i am only member is in home country.please give me advice .....

(1) how can i get New P.R.Card ?
(2) if i will apply for Travel Document and if Authority will allow for Travel Document .i can enter in
Canada, after my entry in Canada i can get the New P.R Card ? in which Time ?
(3) what is batter way -Travel Document or the New P.R file ?

1. IF YOU APPLY FOR TD IT MIGHT BE REFUSED.
2. THERE IS AN OTHER OPTION THAT YOU CALL YOUR FAMILY IN US THEN ENTER FROM US BORDER BY CAR WITH THEM (WITH YOUR LANDING PAPERS ALONG WITH FAMILY MEMBERS PAPERS SHOWING YOUR FAMILY'S' SOCIAL TIES WITH CANADA). IF YOU ARE ALLOWED TO IN, STAY FOR 730 DAYS AND THEN APPLY FOR RENEWAL.

(1) if they will refuse for Travel Document ....after refused T.D my spouse can put the new P.R file ?
(2) if they allow for T.D then i can enter in Canada...after enter in canada how many perod (Days) to get or countinue
my P.R Status.
(3) My Health card will valid after i lost my P.R Status or get T.D ?

hi . I replied you and my reply went in to your personal message box by mistake, anyhow this my daughters' experience, you can read CIC manual for keeping permanent resident status" and loosing permanent resident status. All the statutory and jurisdiction authorities of CIC and IAD officials are written there along with our rights and duties.

It would be better for you to play a safe game possibly by following rules given in CIC manuals in order to save your status.

Thanks for Reply....
If i will apply for T.D and if authority refused to give T.D then they relinquish my P.R Status . After determine my P.R Status i don't want to go for appeal ( beacause it will take 2 Years ). so my P.R Status will expire after 2 months if i will not go for appeal. then my Question is..
(1) My wife can ( apply for sponsorship ) put the New Fresh P.R file for me ? (after i lost old P.R )
(2) Is there any law that once you loss your P.R Status , You can not get New P.R ?
(3) How much time will take for my New Fresh P.R file ? ( Apply for spous sponsorship by my wife)

Where did you get the impression it will take 2 years to appeal refused renewal of PR status? It shouldn't take more than couple months, probably 4 the most.
