It's a common practice to ask for your latest NOA from outside Visa offices. It's also included in the application checklist. As far I understand, you came to Canada first time in June, 2010 and never filed your tax return. If you haven't filed your tax return (by yourself or tax laywers or agencies) for 2010; you will not have an NOA for 2010. But if you have filed your return and received payments from CRA; they have already created your NOA (and probably sent to you or got misplaced). You can ask for a copy either online from your CRA account or by calling them. But it will take some time.
Now, if you haven't filed anything yet, you can't probably get your NOA. You can still verify it by calling CRA. If you are working, provide your T4 slip for year 2010 & 2011 along with your pay-stubs to VO via your parents in order to compensate NOA requirement. You should also send them in writing explaining why you don't possess an NOA. Again, I must say that it may not satisfy a VO.
Thanks for the reply.I havent filled anything as I landed in June 20119i made mistake in question) ...any idea what exactly they get to knw from NOA as we have already summitted out job offer letter , bank statements , investments etc..
Good luck!
