URGENT: Need help with SPP Visa

Hi,

I'm an Indian national residing and working in Qatar for 3+ years. Can I apply for SPP visa from Qatar? Or I will have to either apply online else at VFS in India?

Secondly, I've heard that you need to prove ties to your home country if you're applying from outside of India. I've done my schooling and college from India. I even worked there for 3+ years. Will that be enough to prove my ties?

Even if you apply online, they will redirect everything in Qatar visa office; unless you take a leave, come to India and apply from there. 3 yrs Qatar experience slightly weakens your case to prove a tie to India, but it does make strong connection to Qatar.

3yr Indian job experience is a good tie to India.

Your family members and your property are good ties too.

You have to make a case that you have enough incentive to leave Canada. You can say you have good ties to both Qatar and India with reasonable proof; that does not harm.

So, will it be better if come and apply from India? To make my case stronger. Will that also prove my ties to India?

As far as leaving Canada is concerned. I've mentioned in my SOP that the program will help me enhance my career in Qatar and India. Will that be enough? What else I can do to showcase that I will leave Canada once I'm done with my education.
