URGENT..need help with application for TRV

My brother is in Germany on study permit valid up to dec2019 and he’s applying for visitor visa..I have couple of questions please..
1) in the application form, it asks present address of my parents? Currently they are in Canada visiting me..so what should my brother write in his visitor visa application..?? India or Canada( for the parent’s present address)

2) my brother is on study visa in Germany and not working...in the visa application, what should he say regarding supporting himself?? Like he supports himself or dependent on others..he has app 9500$ in his GIC account and is it good to apply for visa like this, I mean not working or he should work and then get job offer n payslips for applying...

Not sure why the form asks for your parents' present address

He must include any funds that are easily accessible to him (his personal bank account in Germany) + a letter of financial support from your parents + your parents' bank statement + their ITR + any credit cards issued to him, including 2-3 months credit card statements.

He is not supporting himself. He is financially dependent on your parents.

3. Has your brother traveled to other countries, particularly the US/UK/Schengen? If he has visited the UK and other Schengen countries then for how long was each visit and purpose of the visits?

He started his studies in oct 2017. He’s living in a room shared with one other person...he hasn’t been to any place other than Germany...

My shortest advice on this: Don't apply now.

I guess he is studying for a Masters degree. He should wait until he enrolls for the final year of that study program + also establishes stronger ties
