I really need some help with the current situation that I am in. My father has both Canadian visitor visa and USA visitor visa. He came to Canada on Dec 9th 2021 and on arrival his passport wasn’t stamped which allowed him a 6 month stay. But he travelled to the USA in between on March 18th 2022 thus staying only for 3 months and 9 days approx in Canada. Now he has travelled back to Canada on May 11 after staying close to 2 months in USA and within the initial 6 month stay of his first Canada visit(as 9th June would have been the last date of his stay considering 9th Dec as his entry date).
The details are as follows:
1st Stay in Canada
Arrival (from India) : December 9th, 2021
Departure (to USA): March 18th, 2022
Stay in USA:
Arrival (from Canada): March 18th, 2021
Departure (to Canada): May 11th, 2021
2nd Stay in Canada:
Arrival (from USA): May 11th, 2021
Exit Date: ????
During his second visit to Canada, he was asked at the kiosk his intended duration of stay where he mentioned 2 months. They didn’t stamp his passport this time as well and didn’t mention any exit date.
Between his first and second stay in Canada, since he has not visited his home country (India), for how long can he stay in Canada during his second visit?
Is he allowed to stay for another 6 months this time or does he need to leave the country by 9th June (i.e. 6 months from his first arrival in Canada) even though there is no exit date stamped, in fact no stamp at all.
I am not able to understand the end date of his stay for this second visit.
Would really appreciate if anyone could advise or share any similar experiences.
