I don't think any of those are material to you being a sponsor or citizenship app. Misrepresentation is putting materially wrong information,ie that would make them look at your app differently if you told the truth. Mistakes like above are not (in my view).

Keep a record of what info you provided and ask in the citizenship forum when the time comes.

You can always provide a letter of explanation about these things though I think.

One small additional point: I don't think IRCC is out trying to catch people out for just mistakes or typos.

BUT: all applicants/sponsors should still try very hard to be accurate and careful and complete in providing information. (Remember, material omissions can still be misrepresentation).

When IRCC reviews files, the more little mistakes and inconsistencies and oddities are evident, then the lower the credibility is. And that can lead to more reviews and concerns about whether the applicant/sponsor is being truthful about important things.

An example of importance is for those later applying for renewal of PR card or citizenship, where physical days-in-Canada is critical, the credibility of how one keeps and presents records to show one met the residency obligation matters. "Forgetting" a single day trip across the border may not be a big deal; presenting a table of days-in-Canada that has a bunch of errors and has gaps probably will lead to more scrutiny and no benefit-of-doubt.

That doesn't mean everyone needs to freak out and withdraw their apps because of a mistake or typo. Just that it is in your interests to be as accurate as reasonable.

@armoured - Thanks for the information. I completely understand the point. However, I am very upset about the situation where I am afraid if I would be in hot water because of silly mistakes.

I was very confused on how to present my self-employment period where I worked for 3 weeks but still the corporation exists. In future applications, the address of the place should be 2018 because I only worked for 3 weeks. I guess only thing I can do is that attach an LOE saying that the application has the address of that time however current address is this.

Further, regarding Company B /Company A, I can just say that because I got my 1st pay check from Parent company A therefore I have mentioned their name as well to ensure I am not missing any information. I can provide them tonnes of proofs but the problem is that it will overwhelm the officer. I guess the only thing I can do to have some information and just write a letter of explanation.

Thanks.

I think in this particular case you're overthinking. Unlikely anyone cares about the address of your own basically dormant company; small conpanies change addresses all the time. Likewise, you're not the first to work for a group where there are multiple legal entities and there's some fluidity between them.

Don't provide a bunch of proofs unless they ask for it, basically.

Note: my comments here entirely in the context of family sponsorship of a PR and citizenship application. These may be much more relevant for those applying for economic immigration types ie material in those contexts.

3. There is another past employment experience where I put the employer name as for example Company B/Company A. Company B (Subsidiary) was my employer and Company A is the parent company however first paycheck, employee ID card, and building everything was company A (Parent company). T4 and after 1st paycheck, all the pay stubs has company B name. Adding the parent company name after the employer name is something that will be treated as wrong? I wanted to provide as much as information but someone told me the company should only be the one on T4.
It's fine for this point. I think you've provided all information for this parent/child company. You do not need to send proof.

I have corrected the date after I got approved as a sponsor but yes it is past employment. For my current employment, I submitted a letter that indicates I am working and earning. I don't know putting the wrong employment dates is material for them or not but I have corrected it anyhow via webform

They said that they have forwarded the details to the concerned office for consideration. As per the CIC call center agent, It is not an issue as the already sponsor is an approved stage. He said you did correction yourself so nothing is going against you but still I am too much overthinking!

It's not an issue if you have already submitted updated and corrected forms.
