according to the web site of buffalo, it says that the money should be payable to "Canadian Consulate General" for either money order, or certified cheque, so i bought it from bank last sat. But today I got mail from Buffalo who told me the name is

“Receiver General for Canada",,, it is so confusing from the web, so can i still go ahead sending the cheque with " canadian consulate General"?

I sent in favor of "Canadian Consulate General" .. like 3 weeks back .. everything was fine .. and it was encashed also !!

hello all,

I got the response by e-mail from Buffalo , saying the cheque should be addressed to the "Receiver General of Canada", however, they will still accept cheque addressed to "Canadian Consulate General". Please be careful if you have to issue .
